What are hypnotherapy sessions?

Hypnotherapy sessions use a combination of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Clinical Resource Therapy (RT) to bring about rapid change for you. When required Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy (TLT) techniques are added.

 

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a fast and effective technique that uncovers and transforms deeply rooted negative thoughts, habits and emotions stored in the unconscious mind. Limiting beliefs about yourself or others, limiting decisions you have made or negative emotions you have stored, can be released by discovering where they are stored in our past. The emotional baggage that we carry around every day, the thoughts that we believed would never change, are cleared safely and have the most profound and immediate impact.

Hypnosis is a technique that as humans we naturally slip into and out of regularly throughout our day. For example: Within 60 seconds of watching TV you are under some form of hypnosis. As soon as you start reading a book or the newspaper you are in the lightest trance state of hypnosis. When you drive your car from A to B, and you forget how you got there, you were under a form of hypnosis.

The feeling of hypnosis is a normal state of the body. 

Several levels of trance during a hypnosis session – majority people move into a level of trance that activates the Alpha brain wave state. In this level you will be focused on the specific event that you came into change, but you still hear, notice and experience sounds in the room, and surrounds. These sounds will not bother you and it is very similar to when a car drives past or planes fly overhead. The trance state is characterised by a focused state of attention. 

Some people do go into a deeper form of trance called the Theta brain wave state. This is the state you feel when you are just about to go to sleep. Again a very normal state that the body slips into and you are very aware of what that feels like.

Hypnosis work in a similar way to Clinical Resource Therapy, which is why I combine all these techniques together in a session.

Hypnosis works to clear from the root cause of any issue that presents itself, and layer by layer emotions and memories from the past are cleared.

 

What is Clinical Resource Therapy (RT)?

Have you ever wondered why you keep feeling the way you do? Or you keep doing things that you know are not healthy or useful for you?

Clinical Resource Therapy (RT), is the primary modality of a Emotional Wellbeing session, is a ‘parts therapy’ that recognises that our personality is composed of different parts.

Sometimes we have an unwanted emotion (a part of us) that keeps arising that is difficult to handle. Other times it is a behaviour (a part of us) that we no longer like that keeps recurring. Even there are other parts of us that are in conflict and we don’t know what to do.

These patterns that keep popping up in life can now be helped by finding the real reason (root cause) it keeps happening.

It will also help you find the underlying causes of why you keep doing what you are doing. By helping the part that has the presenting issue, you will gain more clarity, direction, freedom and balance in your life.

The power of the therapy occurs in the first few minutes of talking to you. RT is able to precisely locate the part of you that has the problem, not just treating or covering over the symptoms.

Once the problem is located a direct plan of action is taken to help this part, which is the reason it is so quick and effective.

One session you will feel relief but weekly or fortnightly session are essential for sustained results.

What is clinical EFT Tapping?

Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (Clinical EFT Tapping) is a stress and anxiety reduction technique, using certain acupuncture points on our body. Instead of using needles like acupuncture, we use our finger tips to press these points.

Acupuncture teaches us that energy flows through our body through meridians, when we are stressed there is an interruption of this flow. By tapping on these points with our fingertips it releases the stress in our body, and allows this flow to return.

Some of the points are found between our eyebrows, under our nose, on the crease on our chin, on the side or our eyes and when we chew our fingernails.

Some people naturally press a lot of these points in our everyday life, without us really knowing. It might happen when we are thinking, talking to someone, watching TV, worried, anxious, stressed or overwhelmed. These are the points we use during a EFT Tapping session.

During the session we work towards the root cause of your issue, peeling off layer by layer the emotions and past memories that are holding you back.

What is NLP?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) explores how your mind, thoughts, emotions and language lead to certain behaviours or actions we take. Some of these behaviours or actions empower you to live your life to the fullest – and some do not.

Neuro refers to our nervous system and the mind – we give powerful meaning to the experiences in our lives through our 5 senses.

Linguistic relates to the language you use and your internal dialogue. The words you use, give meaning to your experiences, which are created by the way you see your life. If you have a good day, then you will feel good but the opposite can also be true. Through these emotions, the words you use then become a powerful messenger to your life.

Programming refers to the way we act and approach all experiences in everyday life. This approach is taught to us from a very young age, the way we see the world, creates beliefs about our life, this determines the emotions we feel, and in turn the thoughts and words we describe the events. Through these experiences it determines our behaviour and the actions we take in our life. It becomes a cycle or a program.

These programs about our life and ourselves, can be changed. You can choose the way you see, think, feel and act about your life. The beliefs are just thoughts you keep thinking over and over again. You were not born this way. Change your thoughts, change your life.

What is Time line therapy (TLT)?

Time Line Therapy is very similar to Hypnosis in which is works to clear off emotions and memories from past.

Traditional Time Line Therapy works with emotions of anger, guilt, sadness, shame, regret, betrayal, fear and more. It works by travelling back in time to an event in your past where you have felt this particular feeling before. Clearing , releasing and learning occurs at that event and any subsequent events with the similar kind of emotion.

Traditional Time Line Therapy is you view the event from your past from a birds eye position, so you are not fully immersed in the emotions of the event.

I use the concepts of this therapy when using Clinical Resource Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy with my clients. When I feel a client needs to use Time Line Therapy I will naturally move from one therapy to the next if it is necessary.

Hypnotherapy session uses Clinical Hypnotherapy and Clinical Resource Therapy (RT) combined with my teaching/counselling expertise. When required EFT Tapping, NLP, and TLT therapies.

Within a few minutes of talking to you I will understand of your problem and required treatment for the issue. There is no need to tell me the whole story, as all I need are the feeling behind what you are ready to change.

From the very first session what ever you are ready to change can be addressed straight away. Further sessions will give you greater breadth and depth on the underlying causes of your problems. As each layer of the unwanted emotion or behaviour is addressed your personality parts return to a normal state. You will feel empowered, supported and free and begins to create ripple effect in transforming your life.

There are no limits to Hypnosis Infusion sessions. You will move through obstacles or blocks effectively. The process is simple to follow and I’ll provide you with structure to make you accountable and an environment for your dreams to flourish.

Hypnotherapy sessions are extremely powerful in identifying the part of the personality that has the problem (the root cause), empowering and supporting that part and finally working with you to create the desired results in your life.

Each session is tailoured indivdually to your needs, your issues and what you are ready to change.
